The Open Road
I love the open road. This was taken while driving through Nebraska with my family back in 2015. That was a wonderful road trip!

Flat and Forever
I absolutely loved driving the roads in Nebraska. The storm on the horizon made it even better!

The sky is a canvas that light, wind, and water vapor paint temporary masterpieces upon. I have a bordering-on-obsessive love of the sky. :) This was a June storm about 15 miles away from my home.
Watching a storm develop as we drove past Jackson Lake in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, USA. Soon after this, the rain came and the mountains were no longer visible.
My wife and I watched the storm ahead of us as we drove through the northeastern corner of Wyoming - until she convinced me to pull over and get some shots. :) It was remote and there was no light except for the lightning...a beautiful experience!
We Underestimated the Sky

Watering the Empty Land
When the clouds cleared after the cold front passed, I was surprised to see snow. It was mid-June.
