My family and I visited a local cemetery yesterday where some of my ancestors are buried. I happened to glance over and saw my two youngest daughters gazing up at one of the military statues in the war memorial, and captured the moment. I honor those who gave their "last full measure of devotion" and acted heroically in the situations in which they were placed. The terror of war spotlights the worst of human nature, but it can also bring out the best in people.
