Illusion of Grandeur

The architecture of this building is certainly impressive. It's one of the largest enclosed spaces in the world. It looks grand - but it's only the home to government offices and a fast food indoor mall. :) James R. Thompson Center, Chicago, Illinois.

Summer Serenity in Chicago

We all need peace...at times our hunger for it is strong and at others, we're content. However, I've learned that no matter how much we need it, the Holy Spirit that is ever-present at the Lord's house can offer it.

Once the Giant

Metal World

We work in steel buildings and fly in aluminum planes. We drive in metal cars and use computers and smarphones made with several metals. Metal is everywhere. :) Downtown Chicago, Illinois.

Perspective

Chicago!

I just spent most of the week in this city on business. I find large cities so interesting...the history, the architecture, the people, and everything else. This is four shots stitched together...which is what caused the distortion...but I like it this way.
