Low water levels in Utah Lake, make for some interesting shorelines.
Passing in the Night
Light trails in some of the densest fog I've seen. Taken when I should have been sleeping, as the fog crystallized on my camera. :)
1,000 feet above Chicago, Illinois. Quite the view.
My wife and I watched the storm ahead of us as we drove through the northeastern corner of Wyoming - until she convinced me to pull over and get some shots. :) It was remote and there was no light except for the lightning...a beautiful experience!
We Underestimated the Sky
Cloud to cloud lightning taken from my front porch during last night's thunderstorm. This is one bolt, not a composite.
Pair of Palms
Water and Air
I witnessed these clearing clouds over the Great Salt Lake as I arrived home from a cross-country flight at sunset.
Close up of spires on the Washington, D.C. temple. Spires, common in religious buildings, can represent pointing up to heaven, looking to God. They can draw our minds heavenward.
Reflecting the Sky Fire
I was too late to catch the best part of the sunset...but I caught it reflected in the windows of the building where I work.
I actually set this one up one day in the backyard. I found some tiny purple flowers one afternoon and set one on the grass pointed into the sun. I liked how it turned out.
Must have been “rush hour” in the sky. :) I enhanced the color on this one a bit.
In Like a Lion
They say March comes "in like a lion, out like a lamb".
