Salty Water at 1/1600th of a Second
I love shooting waves. The shape and the movement of the water intrigues me.
Watercolors
Colored light reflecting on the colored water of Utah Lake tonight.
Mud
Top to bottom: Dry mud, mud, wet mud. Shoreline of Utah Lake from above. This was taken from the same place that my last post was taken...just a different view.
Fourteen
Light and shadow on fourteen trees in Custer State Park, South Dakota.

The Colors of Life
Green and blue - the colors of life. An abstract digital painting based on a photograph of flowing water. Created completely in Adobe Lightroom. I had a blast making this and several others. :)
Plant's Purpose
All of the energy that a plant takes in from the sun, water and soil, its growth and the show of its flowers, is dedicated to one single purpose: reproduction.

Life in the Color Green
The morning light illuminating this mountain forest scene captured my attention and told me to photograph it.

Cracked
There is a place, an otherworldly place, where giants grow for hundreds, even thousands of years...and then fall, die and grow new giants. These giants are the trees of the Redwood forests.
Shattered
This is a violent image. Usually, I prefer softer, more serene sujbects, but this one stood out to me...it definitely conveys feeling.
Mowed
Lawn: It's an interesting idea...plant a ground cover, then mow it and water it, over and over. Then walk and play on it. It does look good and is far nicer than dirt, rocks and weeds.
And the Green Grass Grows
Tree of Light
The end result of a baby maple.
Tassle
Closeup of the tassle on a curtain in my kitchen window. I modified the colors for effect. What effect? I’m not really sure how to describe it, but I like it.
