Reflected Boston

Light from Boston's financial district reflects on the frozen Charles River. This was a very cold and windy night. The wind made it hard to keep my tripod and camera still. Boston, Massachusetts, USA.

To the Most High

The Boston, Massachusetts Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. The first night I was in the area, I visited this temple, but the lights were already off for the night, so the next night I arrived earlier. and was able to shoot for 30 minutes while the lights were still on. Oh, how I love the temples. I feel connected to God while I'm there.

Worth Every Effort

Leaving as the Lights Came On

After a brief but memorable visit to the historic and beautiful city of Boston, Massachusetts, I left just as the lights came on. :)

Even If You're Small

These tiny flowers (about 1 cm wide each) were blooming at 200 ft below sea level in Death Valley National Park in California. Tiny flowers at the lowest place in the United States - far from a lofty platform, but they made me smile anyway.

Wide Warm Beaches

It was a beautiful beach day in Southern California. Looking at this image, I can feel the warm sand on my bare feet, the cooler ocean breeze, the sound of the surf and the seagulls. I love the beach. :) These little sand mountains came from a heavy rainstorm the day before. I have happy memories of time spent on these beaches when I was a child.

New Life

The Provo City Center Temple - what a remarkable building, and an amazing story. A fire gutted this 132-year old pioneer tabernacle and left only the outside walls standing. Now it's been given a new life as the newest temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
