Watching a storm develop as we drove past Jackson Lake in Grand Teton National Park, Wyoming, USA. Soon after this, the rain came and the mountains were no longer visible.
There have been many rainstorms in the over 100 years this barn has stood on the plains east of the Grand Teton Range in Wyoming. On a drive through last week, the rain stopped just long enough for the sunset colors to peek through the clouds and then it started again.
My kids and I found this large green dragonfly sitting on our driveway a few days ago. We admired it for a few minutes before it flew away. If you zoom in, you can see tiny black hairs on it's face and even the individual parts of its compound eye.
