These birds were fascinating to watch. Hundreds of them gathered in the top of a tree outside my window, chirping very loudly. Every few minutes, they'd all take off at once, filling the air, fly around a bit, and then settle back in the tree. I watched this happen several times. It was amazing.
This sycamore tree still had most of its leaves, and many still green, when the first snowfall came.
Children are naturally full of light - sadly, sometimes it's us who start the process of replacing light with darkness. "That was the true Light, which lighteth every man that cometh into the world" - John 1:9, Holy Bible This is my daughter at 4 years old, looking out of a window.
