Reflecting the Sky Fire
I was too late to catch the best part of the sunset...but I caught it reflected in the windows of the building where I work.
Smile for the Camera
My not quite 2 year old sure knows how to ham it up. :)
So Happy
We recently discovered that my daughter Abigail has a cogenital heart defect that will require surgery. Nothing like a diagnosis like that to help you realize and be grateful for what you have. A recent MRI revealed the best possible scenario, and I feel so happy and grateful!
Simple Winter Scene
Several of the classic elements of winter.
No Meeting Today
An empty conference room where I work in late afternoon light. It's kind of a moody photo, the bare trees and empty chairs...a bit melancholy, but the warm light adds a bit of peace to the scene I think.

Sun in Fog
Often, January in Utah comes with thick haze and air pollution. It's no fun to breathe, but it does make for interesting photos.
Light in Symmetry
Driving home, saw this church, had my camera, had to stop. :)
Streetlight in Morning Fog
The diffused glow from a streetlight just before sunrise on a foggy morning.
Distracted
1 1/2 year old boys aren't always the most interested in getting their photo taken. :)
Mostly Pointless
Clearing Clouds
A view from my house of the morning light on the clearing clouds.
Dedicated Rider
My daughter Rebekah often rode her bike to get the mail from our mailbox during the summer and fall. Why not in the winter?!
Evidence of the Sun
I shot this on my way to work yesterday morning. I liberally enhanced this one to bring out the drama.
Deep and Soft
Taken as I was leaving work yesterday evening. I like how deep and soft the snow looks, and how the fading light adds definition to the mountain's features.
