A Long Way Up

I love hiking mountains. There is something about being on the peak, about conquering the mountain, that is exhilarating. Scripturally, mountain peaks were often the places where God communed with man. It’s that way in life, too. Challenges, while tough, can provide opportunity to overcome…and overcoming challenges can bring perspective and can add zest to life. And it’s often because of challenges, that we learn and grow and are able to commune with God.
