Looking west outside of Denver, Colorado. Denver is quite an interesting place. You look one direction and the horizon is flat. You look the other, and you see the jagged peaks of the Rockies. It's part prairie and part mountain.
A couple days ago I looked out my window in the morning and saw this beautiful sunrise. If you look closely, you can see sun rays coming out from behind the clouds in every direction.
Smoke from fires in Southern Utah created this scene today. The smoky air isn't good to breathe, but it does make for striking skies.
