The ending of the color on the trees and the color in the sky signals the onset of cold in the high mountains. Mt. Nebo (Utah) shows off a dusting of mid-October snow. I was at about 9000 feet when I took this photo and it was 28 degrees F. Brrrr!
I love living in a place where I can experience the color and the crisp air of fall.
