This forest on the side of a mountain road in coastal Oregon, was really quite eerie. It was deathly quiet and very foggy. I would love to go back and explore...with my camera of course. :)
Looking up at the back of my home one early evening in June.
From my vantage point, this looked like a really big dirt pile to me. I've always liked dirt piles. :) Mountains can be fun, but they can also get in one's way...they can be symbolic of challenges. I am grateful for the pioneers who have blazed the trail, over mountains, both physical, emotional, and spiritual, not to mention big dirt piles like this one. Because of those that have gone before, I enjoy great privileges. Thank you, and happy Pioneer Day (Utah holiday). :)
