Make It A Great Day

A late friend of mine used to tell me, "make it a great day". There is a power within us to create the day and even the life we desire. This incredible sunrise over the mountains reminds me of this idea. The power to act and to create is in our hands!

Between Heaven and Earth

The Jordan River Temple is closed for renovation, but I was able to get some good shots of it anyway. I really like the design - it was built in 1981 and is the highest capacity temple in the Church. Like Gold on the Trees

Soon, too soon, the leaves will color and fall. There is a significant symbolism in the seasons, like there is in all of creation. From the scriptures, "...this life is the time for men to prepare to meet God" (Alma 34:32) and "in an hour when ye think not the summer shall be past, and the harvest ended, and your souls not saved." Doctrine & Covenants 45:2 (see also Jeremiah 8:19-20).
