This is the Christmas tree in the foyer of where I work. I took several exposures, and combined them with specialized software to generate a “High Dynamic Range” (HDR) photo. The human eye can see both dark and light at the same time, but a camera can only capture one or the other very well. That’s one reason why a photo often doesn’t turn out the way you remember seeing it. The HDR technique essentially combines darker, lighter and regular exposures, thus replicating more closely what one’s eye really sees. I’ll post more of these HDR photos in the future. On my photoblog, you’ll notice that they’re tagged with the HDR category. Enjoy!
Isaiah 2:2-3 "And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the Lord’s house shall be established in the top of the mountains, and shall be exalted above the hills; and all nations shall flow unto it. And many people shall go and say, Come ye, and let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths: for out of Zion shall go forth the law, and the word of the Lord from Jerusalem."
