Taken during a break between heavy, tropical-storm-produced rain this September. It was SO wet, but worth it! "Each time we attend the temple—in all that we hear, do, and say; in every ordinance in which we participate; and in every covenant that we make—we are pointed to Jesus Christ." —Bishop W. Christopher Waddell The Orlando Florida Temple
The Jordan River Temple is closed for renovation, but I was able to get some good shots of it anyway. I really like the design - it was built in 1981 and is the highest capacity temple in the Church. More from this shoot to come! "The temple is a point of intersection between heaven and earth. In this sacred place, holy work will be performed through selfless service and love. The temple reminds me of all that is good and beautiful in the world." —Elder David A. Bednar
"Today temples dot the earth as sacred places of ordinances and covenants, of edification, and of refuge from the storm. In temples, we receive the most important, most significant, and holiest of all the ordinances in our Church. I testify that it is worth every effort to receive the blessings of the temple." — David A. Bednar
