My daughter Rebekah, at 7 months old, had had enough and was not going to listen anymore...or maybe she just blinked. :)
This giant coast redwood was standing alone in the forest, while most of the other trees were growing closely together. It reminds me of the words to a favorite song: "when I stand with God, I never stand alone", and a scripture: "fear not what man can do, for God shall be with you forever and ever" (Doctrine & Covenants 122:9).
It's been too hot here...so I thought I'd post a photo from January when it was way too cold here. Maybe it will cool you off a bit. :)
